Actress Calls Out Unnecessary Sexualization in Film

Actress Kayadu Lohar has voiced her strong opposition to the gratuitous sexualization of women in cinema. She stated that while she can accept such portrayals to an extent, it must be contextualized within the story and character's journey. Lohar made it clear that she would not agree to films using such imagery merely to attract attention. She highlighted that discussions about female representation in the industry can be isolating. Lohar mentioned that societal norms within the industry might make it difficult to question established practices. Her recent Malayalam film, 'I'm Game,' starring Dulquer Salmaan, has been receiving positive feedback and was released on September 3.
