As of November 2nd, 2025, actress Jana Kramer, 41, is still feeling the sting of narrowly missing out on a role in the first season of the hit Netflix show "The Hunting Wives". Kramer had a strong feeling the show would be a big success, and she was devastated when she didn't get the part she had auditioned for.
Despite the disappointment, Kramer has remained in touch with the show's casting team and is hopeful that she may have another chance at a role in the upcoming second season. "I did get an email about a potential role," Kramer revealed. "But I have to audition and see what happens. Who knows? I know that one day it'll hopefully be something."

In addition to the near-miss with "The Hunting Wives", she recently missed out on another major TV spinoff show that she had high hopes for. "It would have been a huge spinoff show for me to get," Kramer said. "I was in the mix and I got the text from my manager being like, 'Hey, their offer is out to this person so if they don't accept then you're next.' But this person is going to accept."
Despite the setbacks, Kramer remains determined to land her next big acting role. "I know it's going to happen," she said. "I've worked so hard. I want this. I want to be back on a show again and that is my dream."
