Kannada Actress Aishwarya Sindogi Files FIR Over Online Abuse

Kannada actor Aishwarya Sindogi has filed a police complaint detailing sustained online harassment and abuse through social media. She specifically accused a known individual of employing multiple fake social media accounts to direct objectionable comments towards her.

Following this complaint, the Sanjaynagar Police in Bengaluru have officially registered a First Information Report (FIR) and commenced an investigation into the alleged cyber harassment. Aishwarya stated that the derogatory and abusive remarks have been posted over a prolonged period across her social media platforms.

This incident is part of a broader trend of online abuse targeting women in the Kannada film industry. Previously, actors Ramya and Vijayalakshmi Darshan also reported similar issues to the police, leading to arrests after investigations by the Cyber Crime Police.

The current investigation is focused on examining the social media accounts mentioned in Aishwarya's complaint to verify if they are indeed fake profiles and to identify the individuals operating them. Authorities expect to trace the alleged fake accounts and identify those responsible for the abusive comments as the investigation progresses.
