Actor and political party chief Vijay made a spiritual visit to the Murugan temple in Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu, on April 28. The visit took place after the recent polling phase and prior to the upcoming election results announcement on May 4. Vijay traveled discreetly from Chennai to Madurai via a private flight late at night.
Upon his arrival in Madurai, a large number of fans gathered at the airport around midnight to catch a glimpse of the actor. Vijay acknowledged their presence by waving and briefly appearing through his car's sunroof. He was dressed in traditional attire for the occasion.
Following his arrival in Madurai, Vijay proceeded by road to Tiruchendur. He reached the Murugan temple early in the morning on April 28 and participated in the special Viswaroopa darshan. Temple officials welcomed him and presented him with a sacred 'Vel' as a gesture of respect.
Devotees inside the temple also gathered to see Vijay, noting his calm demeanor. After his prayers, Vijay departed from the temple, with plans to return to Chennai via Madurai. The actor is currently preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Jana Nayagan.
