In October 2025, actor Sri Devaa is set to make his feature film debut as the lead in the upcoming movie 'OTP'. The film, directed by Farook Abdullah, explores the challenges of the digital generation and the scams that occur through phones.
Sri Devaa, who previously appeared in films like 'Thunivu' and 'Vettaiyan', shares that the story of 'OTP' revolves around how he tackles a problem in his relationship caused by technology. "It's about the scams that happen through our phones nowadays. How I tackle a problem in my relationship caused by technology is the film's story," he explains.
The actor, who gained popularity through the TV serial 'Siragadikka Aasai', states that balancing his television and film commitments is a constant juggle. "Since I'm also doing TV, I spend 15 days of a month filming for it. So, right now, I can only do a movie if I get my film commitments done within the remaining days of the month," he says.
With its focus on the digital landscape and its impact on personal relationships, 'OTP' promises to be a compelling and timely exploration of the modern era's challenges.
