Actor Quits Film Over Ethics: 'Speak Against Salman Khan'

Actor Sonu Mmishra recently departed from the film 'Kala Hiran,' a project reportedly based on the 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan. Mmishra stated he had already begun shooting but opted out after reviewing the contract, which allegedly mandated him to make public statements critical of Salman Khan during promotions.

Speaking to "Bollywood Crazies," Mmishra emphasized that his decision was rooted in personal ethics rather than any fear of Salman Khan or his industry standing. He asserted that actors should not be defined by their roles or promotional activities. The film, produced by Amit Jani under Jani FireFox Films, has garnered controversy, with other individuals like Govind Namdev also distancing themselves. Salman Khan had previously issued a legal notice to the producer, who subsequently claimed to have received death threats.
