Actor Muthu Kalai Appeals to CM Vijay for Wife's Health Crisis

Actor Muthu Kalai, known for his roles alongside stars like Vadivelu and Vivek, has reached out to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay for urgent help. His wife, Malathi, aged 47, is currently hospitalized in a critical condition following a brain hemorrhage and subsequent surgery. She is experiencing breathing difficulties and remains unconscious due to a severe post-operative infection. Doctors have recommended advanced treatment for her recovery.

Muthu Kalai, who began his career in Rajapalayam and worked various odd jobs before acting, has previously appeared in films with Chief Minister Vijay. The actor also overcame alcohol addiction and, at 50, earned three college degrees, becoming an inspiration for his perseverance and dedication to education. He is now appealing to the Chief Minister for assistance in arranging the necessary medical care for his wife, drawing significant attention from fans and the film industry.
