- He struggled with sitcom timing during a table read.
- The dismissal occurred during his early career in sitcoms.

During a recent podcast appearance, actor Danny Green, 52, shared that he was fired from a single episode of the 1987-1990 NBC sitcom 'My Two Dads'. Green recounted that during a rehearsal's run-through, his comedic timing was not aligning with the scene, prompting the producers to let him go.
He recalled that the show's creator, Michael Jacobs, who also helmed 'Boy Meets World,' directly informed him of the decision. Green admitted his main worry at the time was ensuring he received payment for the day he worked, reflecting his early career in television.
Fellow 'Boy Meets World' alum Danielle Fishel offered reassurance, suggesting that Jacobs had a history of threatening to fire cast members, implying the dismissal may not have been solely performance-based. Green confirmed Jacobs himself delivered the news, citing specific line readings that Green struggled to replicate precisely.
