In the case of 'Drishyam The Conclusion,' Khanna's reported departure necessitated finding a replacement and altering the screenplay. Postponing the shoot was not feasible due to the planned October 2 release date. The filmmakers eventually cast Jaideep Ahlawat in a new character role, rather than replacing Khanna directly.
