ACM Awards: Country Stars Hit Vegas for 61st Ceremony

The 61st Academy of Country Music Awards are set to take place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena and will stream live on Prime Video, the Amazon Music app, and Amazon's Twitch channel on May 17. This year's event will feature performances by Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Riley Green.
Cody Johnson returns to the ACM Awards stage after winning Song of the Year in 2025 for "Dirt Cheap." Lainey Wilson is scheduled to perform her new song, "Can't Sit Still," for the first time. Riley Green will perform his hit "Change My Mind" and will also headline a special performance titled "ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green: Riley Green & Friends" at Topgolf Las Vegas on May 15.
Organizers are also planning "ACM Next Wave: Country's Beach Bash" at Mandalay Bay Beach on May 16, a reimagined outdoor concert experience. Tickets for the main awards show are available for purchase via AXS. Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, expressed excitement about returning to Las Vegas for the "global Country Music celebration."
