Summary
- Ace Frehley, former KISS guitarist, cancels remaining 2025 tour dates
- Frehley, 74, cites "ongoing medical issues" for the cancellation
- Frehley was recently hospitalized for a minor fall in his studio

In a disappointing turn of events for rock music fans, Ace Frehley, the former KISS guitarist, has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of his 2025 solo tour. The 74-year-old musician, known as the Spaceman or Space Ace, cited "ongoing medical issues" as the reason for the cancellation.
Frehley had a handful of shows booked for October and November in support of his most recent solo album, 10,000 Volts, which he released in February 2024. However, just over two weeks ago, he was hospitalized for a "minor" fall in his studio, sustaining minor injuries. This incident led Frehley to pull out of a scheduled performance at the Antelope Valley Fair with Quiet Riot and Vixen in Lancaster, California.
Despite the setback, Frehley remains optimistic about the future. In a statement to his fans, he expressed his desire to continue his tour and finish work on his upcoming album, Origins Vol. 3, the sequel to his 2016 and 2020 collections of cover songs. Frehley's fans and fellow musicians, including Britt Lightning of the band Vixen, have sent their well-wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery.
While Frehley hasn't played with KISS since 2018, he and the three other founding members, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, and Paul Stanley, are still making headlines together. The four were recently announced as 2025 Kennedy Center honorees, a prestigious recognition that Frehley, a self-proclaimed Trump supporter, is deeply grateful for.
