The 76th annual ACE Eddie Awards recently concluded, honoring exceptional talent in cinematic and television editing. The ceremony, hosted by actor Asif Ali, took place at UCLA's Royce Hall.
Filmmaker Ang Lee was presented with the prestigious Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award. This accolade acknowledges filmmakers who have demonstrated significant achievement in both the art and business of filmmaking.
In the film categories, "Sinners" and "One Battle After Another" were among the winners, with their editors, Michael P. Shawver and Andy Jurgensen, respectively, also contending for an Oscar. Television awards recognized editors from recent Emmy winners "The Studio" and "The Pitt."
Additional honors included the ACE Visionary Award presented to Kim Larson of YouTube and ACE Career Achievement awards for Arthur Forney and Robert Leighton.
