The series is based on the acclaimed novel "The Price You Pay" by bestselling author Nick Harkaway, writing under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen.

However, her past comes back to haunt her when she discovers that a squad of the world's most terrifying hitmen, known as "The Seven Demons", have been hired to kill her.
