Eggar's acting career spanned over five decades, with her breakout role coming in 'The Collector' when she was just 25 years old.
In addition to her acclaimed work in 'The Collector', Eggar was also known for her roles in films such as 'Doctor Dolittle', 'The Molly Maguires', and 'Return from the Ashes'. She fondly recalled her time on the set of 'Doctor Dolittle', describing it as a "bliss" experience where she got to dance, sing, and work alongside the legendary Rex Harrison.
