Veteran Actress O'Hara Joins Cast of Highly Anticipated 'Sheriff Country' Spinoff

In a major casting announcement, veteran actress Catherine O'Hara has joined the cast of the upcoming 'Sheriff Country' spinoff series. O'Hara will be portraying the role of Miranda, the ex-sister-in-law of the show's lead character, Sheriff Mickey Fox, played by Morena Baccarin.

Miranda is described as a sharp-tongued and formidable businesswoman who is the wealthiest individual in the small town of Edgewater, where the series is set. Despite their strained relationship, Miranda and Sheriff Fox share the common struggle of dealing with their children's battles with addiction.

'Sheriff Country' is a spinoff of the network's popular drama 'Fire Country', which follows the personal and professional lives of a group of firefighters. The new series will focus on Sheriff Fox as she investigates criminal activity while navigating her own complicated family dynamics.

In addition to O'Hara and Baccarin, the show's ensemble cast includes Christopher Gorham as Mickey's ex-husband, Travis Fraley, and Amanda Arcuri as their daughter, Skye. The series is executive produced by Matt Lopez, Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, Joan Rater, Jerry Bruckheimer, and KristieAnne Reed.
