Acclaimed Actors Tapped for Narration of Thrilling New Mystery 'My Husband's Wife'

In November 2025, it was announced that the audiobook adaptation of Alice Feeney's latest novel, 'My Husband's Wife', is set to release on January 20, 2026, simultaneously with the hardcover edition. The audiobook will feature the voices of renowned actors Richard Armitage, Bel Powley, and Henry Rowley.

Armitage, best known for his role as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit film trilogy, is an Audie Award-winning narrator who has previously lent his voice to several of Feeney's other audiobooks. Powley, who has appeared in numerous TV, film, and stage productions, and Rowley, currently starring in the new Lionsgate/MGM+ series Robin Hood, will also be lending their talents to the audiobook.

The novel, 'My Husband's Wife', follows the story of artist Eden Fox, who returns home to the old house of Spyglass in Hope Falls and finds a stranger claiming to be her husband's wife. The book is described as a "tangled web of deception, obsession, and mystery that will keep you guessing until the last moment."

In addition to the audiobook announcement, it was also revealed that Feeney's novel 'His & Hers' is being adapted into a Netflix limited series. Tessa Thompson will play the lead role and executive produce the adaptation, which is being written by William Oldroyd, Bill Dubuque, and Dee Johnson, with Oldroyd set to direct the first episode and Johnson serving as showrunner.
