This will be followed by another all-star concert at the Ryman Auditorium on October 10, 2025, the fourth and final concert in the memorial series.
The "You Got Gold" concert series was organized by Fiona Whelan Prine, John Prine's widow, as a way to celebrate her late husband's life and legacy after he passed away from COVID-related complications in April 2020. The film, directed by Michael John Warren, aims to capture the emotional and heartfelt tribute to the beloved singer-songwriter, whose music has touched the lives of countless fans and fellow artists.
