Abhishek Bachchan has revealed the profound influence of Shah Rukh Khan on his career, describing the superstar as an "elder-brother" figure.
Speaking about their upcoming film King, Bachchan highlighted Khan's unwavering support. He stated that Shah Rukh has "literally taken personal responsibility" for him multiple times, including during the production of King. This support dates back to before Bachchan's Bollywood debut.
Bachchan reminisced about playing cricket with friends like Uday Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, and Sikandar Kher, where Shah Rukh Khan would often join. During these gatherings, Khan offered valuable career advice. He famously told a young Bachchan that his favorite film was always the one he was currently working on, a philosophy Bachchan now applies to his own work.
King, the film reuniting the two actors, is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 24th, 2026.
