Singer Abhijeet Sawant attributes his long-standing music career, including the success of his song Mohabbatein Lutaunga, to the blessings of Lord Ganesha. He actively participates in Ganeshotsav, visiting friends and family, and emphasizes how his daughters are carrying forward the tradition. Sawant feels a deep personal connection to the festival, recalling how his first public performance was at a Ganeshotsav event, marking the beginning of his musical journey.
Furthermore, Sawant recently released an independent song, Gana Dhav Re, for Lord Ganesha, which uniquely features the vocals of his daughters. He observes a significant resurgence in independent music in India, viewing it as a crucial counterbalance to the perceived lack of originality in current film music. Sawant believes this trend is driven by public demand and offers a space for fresh, original content in the music scene.
