Abhay Deol's Eco-Glass House: A Vision Unveiled

Actor Abhay Deol opted for an unconventional design for his eco-friendly glass house, completed in 2011. Located in Assagao, North Goa, the residence took significant time to conceptualize and realize his distinct vision. Deol instructed his architects to create a space where the ceiling would be unobscured when looking at someone, eliminating the need for traditional windows.

This unique design fosters an immersive indoor-outdoor experience, making inhabitants feel as though they are standing outside while comfortably inside. The living room, a favorite gathering spot, exemplifies this concept. The house features high ceilings and offers panoramic views of the surrounding lush greenery, enhanced by rustic interior details.

Black granite floors, dark wood elements, contrasting blue walls, and exposed brickwork define the living area's aesthetic. Pops of color are introduced through vibrant couches and dining chairs, adding warmth and personality to the rustic setting. Abhay Deol's home stands as a testament to his personal philosophy of embracing life fully and authentically.
