Blumhouse Television has welcomed Abbey Morris as its new Senior Vice President of Development & Programming. Morris will work closely with Melissa Aouate, President of Blumhouse Television, to oversee the division's creative team and scripted development.
Morris transitions to Blumhouse after a four-year tenure as Senior Vice President at Irish Cowboy Productions. During her time there, she managed the development and production of the company's projects, including her role as Executive Producer for 'The Umbrella Academy' Season 4 and development of the 'Horizon Zero Dawn' adaptation.
Earlier in her career, Morris held development roles at Fabrik Entertainment and Mandeville TV. She began her career in Detroit, where she worked as a producer and writer for Detroit Public Television, earning two Michigan Emmy Awards.
