Aamir Khan Weds Gauri Spratt: Ex-Wives Absent but Relations Intact

Aamir Khan recently married his longtime partner Gauri Spratt in a private registered ceremony held on July 5 at his Mumbai home. The event was an intimate gathering of close friends and family, notably without the presence of Khan's former wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.

A friend of the actor, Amin Hajee, explained that Kiran Rao was in the UK at the time of the wedding. He further elaborated on Reena Dutta's absence, stating it was a natural gesture of giving space and a sign of mutual respect, rather than any indication of strained relations.

Despite their separations, Aamir Khan maintains warm and healthy relationships with both Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Evidence of this professional camaraderie includes their continued collaboration on the Paani Foundation initiative. Khan also demonstrated his enduring bond with Reena by attending her father's final rites when she was travelling.

The wedding celebration itself was described as deliberately simple, eschewing traditional rituals for a casual evening of shared company, laughter, and conversation. Both families connected warmly, with Aamir's new in-laws, including Gauri's father Robert "Bob" Spratt, being noted for their warmth and pride in Aamir.
