Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and released in 2001, "Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India" is set in colonial India and revolves around a village challenging British officers to a cricket match to resolve a tax dispute. The film starred Aamir Khan alongside Gracy Singh, Rachel Shelley, and Paul Blackthorne.
