The Association of Artist Managers (AAM) will host its fifth annual awards ceremony in Sydney on April 29. This event aims to recognize the dedication and impact of music managers who have been instrumental in elevating Australian artists and their music internationally. The awards cover achievements from January 2025 through December 2025.
Several key categories will be presented, including Artist Manager of the Year, Breakthrough Manager of the Year, and Emerging Manager of the Year. The ceremony will also feature the Legacy Award, curated by the AAM board, and the Patron's Gift Award, selected by AAM patrons. Additionally, the 2026 APRA AMCOS Lighthouse Award will be presented.
Broadcaster and comedian Matt Okine is set to host the event, which is described as a chance to acknowledge managers who have built sustainable artist pathways. Finalists were determined through consultations with industry representatives. This year's event, presented by White Sky, precedes the APRA Music Awards, with last year's ceremony held in Melbourne.
