The upcoming March 12th episode of 9-1-1, titled "Mother's Boy," will plunge Eddie Guzman and Evan "Buck" Buckley into peril. After their flight home is canceled, the pair embark on a cross-country road trip to Los Angeles.
During their journey, a tense moment of reconciliation between Eddie and Buck is shattered when a large truck begins aggressively tailgating them. The truck forces them off the road, leaving them in a dangerous situation with no cell service to call for help.
This episode deviates from the show's typical tone, with actors describing it as darker and feeling like a "different show." Oliver Stark suggests Buck will face a "very trying" period, with significant repercussions and major life decisions on the horizon.
The episode airs on ABC on Thursday, March 12, at 8 p.m. ET.
