80-Year-Old Sir Rod Stewart Rejects Retirement, Keeps Rocking On

As of October 6, 2025, legendary British singer Sir Rod Stewart, now 80 years old, remains firmly committed to his music career and has no plans to retire. Although he is currently on a farewell tour called "One Last Time," Stewart insists that retirement is not something he is considering.

In a recent interview, the Grammy-winning artist, who has sold over 250 million records worldwide, expressed his continued passion for performing, stating, "I still enjoy what I'm doing. I love it." He added that his joy for music is evident on his face, saying, "Absolutely love it, but all things have to come to an end."

Despite his impressive achievements, Stewart has no desire to rest on his laurels. He is currently working on a country album and an original album, demonstrating his ongoing creative drive. The singer also recently celebrated his 80th birthday in January and continues to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with hobbies and a loving family to keep him fulfilled.

While some may have expected Stewart to slow down or consider a Super Bowl or World Cup performance as a grand finale, the iconic musician remains content with his past appearances, such as at the Glastonbury Festival in 2002 and 2023. As he stated, "I've done it all," and there is no "bucket list" left for him to complete.
