A significant deal has been struck to bring the 1980s Argentine superhero toy franchise, 'Warriors of Tomorrow,' back into the spotlight. Black Mandala, a sales outfit based in New Zealand, has acquired the rights to develop an animated series and a new action figure line based on the cult classic.
The original 'Warriors of Tomorrow' toys, released during the same era as Mattel's iconic 'He-Man' figures, have become highly sought-after collectibles internationally over the past four decades. This revival aims to capture the imagination of both nostalgic fans and new audiences.
Black Mandala plans to debut the series teaser and a collectible sculpture at Argentina Comic-Con on December 5th. The animation project boasts a strong creative team, including Aníbal Morales as animation director and sound design by Germán Suracce.
