The park, inspired by the globally recognized Dragon Ball Z franchise, will be located in the vicinity of Cergy-Pontoise, northwest of Paris. This development is anticipated to generate approximately 22,000 employment opportunities.
Qiddiya, a prominent Saudi entertainment and investment group, will provide the necessary financing for this venture. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader economic strategy to diversify its revenue streams away from oil and expand its influence within the international leisure sector.
While an opening date remains unspecified, the construction phase itself is expected to span several years, positioning it as one of Europe's largest theme park developments. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit also included his appearance at the Esports World Cup closing ceremony in Paris.
