The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) is gearing up to celebrate its 30th milestone edition in 2025, bringing a diverse selection of acclaimed European films to audiences in India. From October 31 to November 9, the festival will kick off in New Delhi, followed by screenings in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Organized by the Delegation of the European Union to India, in collaboration with the Embassies of EU Member States and regional partners, EUFF 2025 aims to foster cultural exchange and offer Indian audiences a rare opportunity to experience Europe's most celebrated cinematic works on the big screen. The festival will showcase 28 films in 29 languages, exploring themes of resilience, hope, identity, and the celebration of life.
According to Hervé Delphin, the Ambassador of the European Union to India, the EUFF is more than just a showcase - it's an invitation for audiences to engage with thought-provoking, inspiring, and deeply human cinema. The festival's curator, Artur Zaborski, describes the 2025 selection as "both bold and deeply moving," celebrating the richness and diversity of European storytelling.
