Tony Awards 2026: Vampire Musical Dominates Nominations

The 2026 Tony Awards are poised for an exciting night, highlighted by the musical "The Lost Boys" leading the pack with the most nominations. The ceremony, set to be broadcast live from New York's Radio City Music Hall on June 7th, will be hosted by pop singer Pink. This year features highly competitive races across multiple categories, adding to the anticipation for theater aficionados.

Several acting categories promise to be particularly nail-biting. The race for best performance by an actor in a leading role in a play sees Tony-winning veterans John Lithgow and Nathan Lane facing off. Similarly, the best supporting actress category includes a notable contest between Shoshana Bean and Ana Gasteyer. A major highlight will be the competition for best revival of a musical between "Ragtime" and "Cats: The Jellicle Ball."
