The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its 17 nominees for the 2026 class, showcasing one of its most diverse lineups to date. Among the contenders are first-time nominees such as Jeff Buckley, Phil Collins, Melissa Etheridge, Lauryn Hill, INXS, New Edition, Pink, Shakira, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan.
Several artists are making a return to the ballot after previous nominations, including The Black Crowes, Mariah Carey, Joy Division/New Order, and Oasis. While this is the second nomination for The Black Crowes, Carey, Joy Division/New Order, and Oasis are on the ballot for the third time.
Fan and industry voting will take place over the next two months. The selected inductees for the 2026 class will be revealed in April. In addition to the public vote, special committee categories will also announce their honorees at that time.
