Summary
- A new peace pin designed by Shepard Fairey is launching for the Oscars.
- The pin features a dove carrying a lotus with a barbed wire stem.
- Many stars have previously worn Artists4Ceasefire pins at awards shows.

Ahead of the 2026 Oscars ceremony, Artists4Ceasefire has unveiled a new pin designed by artist Shepard Fairey. This collective, advocating for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians since late 2023, will distribute the pins at the Dolby Theatre.
The design incorporates a dove carrying a lotus flower with a barbed wire stem, representing "hope, resilience and a just peace." A heart above the flower signifies "leading with love" and a commitment to universal liberation. Fairey stated that art can remind us of our shared humanity beyond borders.
This new design follows the success of previous Artists4Ceasefire pins, which were notably worn by numerous stars at the 2024 Academy Awards and the 2025 Emmy Awards. Celebrities like Billie Eilish, Mark Ruffalo, Javier Bardem, and Megan Stalter have previously shown support for the cause.
