AMAs Move to Vegas: New Venue, New Date for 2026 Show

The American Music Awards are relocating for their 52nd edition, with the 2026 ceremony set to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This marks the first time the fan-voted music awards will be held at this venue.

CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced that the 2026 AMAs will air live nationwide on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. The broadcast will also be available to stream live and on demand via Paramount+. This event kicks off a new five-year deal between the network and Dick Clark Productions.

Since its inception in 1974, the American Music Awards have celebrated top musical achievements as determined by fans. The nominations for the upcoming 2026 awards are scheduled to be revealed on Tuesday, April 14. Last year's 51st AMAs, hosted in Las Vegas, drew over 10 million unique viewers across multiple network airings and encores. The CBS broadcast achieved its largest audience since 2019, showing a significant increase from its previous live airing. The ceremony honored recipients like Janet Jackson and Rod Stewart, alongside performances from numerous popular artists.
