The initiative seeks to enhance national pride by showcasing community stories and increasing opportunities for public engagement with local arts, history, and heritage. This investment reflects a commitment to bridging societal divides through cultural expression.
Significant portions include £760 million for museums, £425 million for the Creative Foundations Fund supporting arts venues, and £230 million for heritage building preservation. Further funds are allocated for libraries and National Portfolio Organisations.
